Funeral Celebrant Services

I am a trained Celebrant having completed training with the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants.

My experience in the world of Funerals is unique

Career History

  • My earliest recollection of the impact of death and dying was as a member of the Choir of Westminster Abbey where I sang at the Funeral for the late Diana, Princess of Wales in 1997.
  • I came to the world of Funerals through my first career as a Church Organist.
  • I studied at the Royal College of Music where I gained a BMus (Hons) degree.
  • After a brief spell working for a local Funeral Director, I decided to open my own Funeral Home in 2011 which I run together with my wife, Laura.

After a long period of discernment I realised that there was a particular role within the Funeral ceremony that I was drawn to

so I decided to train as a Funeral Celebrant

I believe that as each life is unique and each set of relationships and memories are fashioned and crafted to the uniqueness of someone we love.

A family should have the option to have a Funeral service that honours those memories and for the Funeral to be as unique as the individual we are saying goodbye to.

As Celebrant, Funeral Director & Musician, I have been fortunate to see and be part of a cross section of Funeral services, some good, some not so good. This enables me to create for you a Service that reflects & celebrates a life, while offering comfort and support at a difficult time.
